The team here at Joshua James are happy to announce that our store, located in Hessle, is set to reopen from the 12th of April in line with the Government Roadmap. We cannot wait to invite our regular and new customers back into our only shop which has had a massive glow-up just in time for the (hopefully!) permanent reopening.
With the closure of non-essential shops on the 6th of January, Joshua James has been ever so lucky to keep our operations flowing online. However, we’ve missed that face-to-face interaction with our customers, which is why we are itching to open our doors.

Joshua James Jewellers Reopening
The Joshua James shop is set to be reopened this coming Monday with the opening times of:
Friday: 10am–5pm
Saturday: 10am–3pm
Sunday: Closed
Monday: 10am–5pm
Tuesday: 10am–5pm
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 10am–5pm
Amongst some new exciting service additions to our shop, we also wanted to share that we have redecorated throughout, allowing for the true beauty of our jewellery pieces to be appreciated in all of their glory. Along with a refresh of our store, comes our brand new services which are met with a wider selection of wedding and engagement rings to be visible in-store:
Our New Bespoke Ring Services
Now that we’re on the road to jewellers reopening, we thought it would be the perfect time for us to announce our brand new in-store engagement and wedding ring service that’s exclusive to Joshua James. We have taken advantage of the lockdown to transform our shop into a luxurious space where our customers can join us as they embark upon the journey of finding the perfect ring together.
Upon appointment, you will be taken into our consultation room that is embellished in royal blue and gold. One of our experts will then ask for your vision, some sketches or example imagery. Once we are given your guidance, we will then invite you in for a follow-up appointment where we will present you with our mock-ups. If the bespoke package is chosen, clients will then receive a 3D render and wax model of their ring to ensure that they’re 100% happy with the outcome. This is then topped off with complimentary champagne as you take in the special moment of seeing your dream ring is brought to life.
Our Ring Selection
Here at Joshua James, we pride ourselves in our vast selection of engagement and wedding rings, allowing for success with every couple. To make this a completely bespoke service, clients can choose from our standard process where they can customise their ring design through the material and style of the ring. The styles, gems and diamonds will be displayed at the consultation so that couples get a real good idea of their options.
Or the soon-to-be married couple can choose our complete bespoke package which offers the individuals full creative-reign on the entire ring. In simpler words, clients can design their ideal ring, keeping it as unique and one-of-a-kind as they wish. All of our rings are beautifully handcrafted in the UK, and are so wide ranging that we have ensured that this service is accessible to all budgets.
This service is as glamorous and memorable as it sounds. We have considered every element of the ring journey as we understand how important it is to achieve your perfect wedding day; which is why we feel keeping the magic alive during the entire planning process is always necessary.
